VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
I currently volunteer on the GLVAR Education Committee & also with a local 501c3 cat rescue, Katmandu Kats.
I have several decades of successful sales experience and coordination skills. While my Navy SEAL husband was deployed for long stretches, I ran the household, took care of our children, and managed all aspects of our finances, maintenance, health, and education. As we moved about the country, I took sales jobs with hours during the times when our children were in school. Once my husband retired from the military in 2002, I began my real estate career. I was the "scrappy" Realtor of the time; I knew no one and had no business given or referred to me by anyone. I made cold calls and visited For-Sale-By-Owner properties. At the time, this was frowned upon and discouraged by the local brokers. I had to fight for what I wanted, and if I failed, I learned from it. I perfected my presentations and eventually became a member of the top 2% of agents in the region.
I have sold and closed in excess of 140 million dollars of real estate since 2002.
